FAQ

Questions families ask us

Honest answers, in plain language. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly — there’s no such thing as a silly question about your child.

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that teaches meaningful skills — like communication, daily living, and social skills — by breaking them into small, achievable steps. Progress is measured with data from every session, so the plan is adjusted based on what is actually working for your child rather than guesswork.

Who can benefit from MD Analytics' services?

We support learners diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and other neuropsychological, behavioral, or academic difficulties. If you're unsure whether our services fit your child's needs, contact us — we're happy to talk it through with you.

What skills does therapy focus on?

Programs are individualized, and commonly target verbal communication, social skills, attention and focus, academic skills, fine and gross motor skills, feeding and picky eating, self-management, and personal self-care including hygiene, toileting, and dressing. Your family's priorities shape which goals come first.

What services do you offer?

MD Analytics offers one-to-one ABA therapy, small-group learning pods, educational and academic support, and telehealth services including parent and caregiver coaching. Services are delivered in ways that fit daily life at home, at school, and out in the community.

How do we get started?

Reach out through our contact page to schedule an initial consultation. We'll listen to your family's story, answer your questions, and — if it's a good fit — begin with a comprehensive assessment that becomes the foundation of your child's individualized plan.

How are parents and caregivers involved?

Deeply. Families help choose goals, learn the strategies we use in sessions, and practice them in everyday routines. Caregiver training is part of the work — progress that only happens in a therapy session isn't the goal; progress at home, at school, and in the world is.

How do you measure progress?

We collect data in every session and chart it over time — that's the 'analytics' in MD Analytics. You'll see progress in plain language and clear visuals, and when the data says something isn't working, we change the approach rather than waiting.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Secure video sessions bring instruction, program supervision, and caregiver coaching to your home. Telehealth can stand alone or supplement in-person services, and is especially useful for coaching around home routines like mealtimes, transitions, and toileting.

What is a learning pod?

A learning pod is a small group of learners receiving structured educational and therapeutic instruction together. Pods keep the individualization of one-to-one work while adding real peer interaction — a supportive setting to practice social skills, attention, and group participation.

Do you accept insurance?

Coverage for ABA and educational services varies by insurer, plan, and location. Contact us and we'll discuss your situation, walk through the options, and help you understand what to ask your insurance provider.
